Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Fawnly ("the Service"), operated at fawnly.app. By using Fawnly, you agree to these terms.

What Fawnly does

Fawnly connects to your Google Business Profile, reads incoming reviews, generates AI-powered response drafts, and (with your permission) posts those responses to Google on your behalf.

Your account

• You sign in using your Google account. You're responsible for maintaining access to that account.
• You must be authorized to manage the Google Business Profile(s) you connect.
• One account per person. Don't share credentials.

What you're responsible for

• Reviewing and approving responses before they're posted (if you've enabled approval mode).
• Ensuring auto-posted responses are appropriate for your business. You can configure which reviews require manual approval.
• Complying with any industry-specific regulations (HIPAA, legal ethics, etc.) that apply to your business communications. Fawnly includes safety filters but these don't guarantee compliance.

What we're responsible for

• Keeping the service available and functioning.
• Protecting your data as described in our Privacy Policy.
• Only accessing your Google Business Profile to read reviews and post replies — nothing else.
• Processing payments securely through Stripe.

Billing

• Fawnly costs $10/month per connected location.
• Your 7-day free trial starts when you connect your first location. No credit card required to start.
• After the trial, you'll be prompted to subscribe via Stripe. If you don't subscribe, auto-responses stop but your settings are preserved.
• Cancel anytime from your settings page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
• No refunds for partial months, but you keep access until the period ends.

AI-generated content

• Responses are generated by AI (OpenAI) and may occasionally be imperfect.
• You are ultimately responsible for content posted to your Google Business Profile, whether auto-posted or manually approved.
• Fawnly includes safety filters to avoid disclosing sensitive information (health details, legal matters), but these are best-effort safeguards, not guarantees.

Acceptable use

Don't use Fawnly to:

• Post spam, fake reviews, or misleading content.
• Violate Google's review policies or terms of service.
• Harass, threaten, or defame reviewers.
• Attempt to access other users' data or disrupt the service.

Service availability

We aim for high availability but don't guarantee 100% uptime. The service depends on Google's API and other third parties. If Google's API is down or changes, response posting may be temporarily unavailable.

Limitation of liability

Fawnly is provided "as is." We're not liable for damages arising from AI-generated responses posted to your profile, service downtime, or third-party API changes. Our total liability is limited to the amount you've paid us in the last 3 months.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. On termination, we delete your data within 30 days.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If we make significant changes, we'll notify you by email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
